“This a great new cheese shop that only does Irish cheese.” It’s run by professional cheesemaker Sinéad Ní Gháirbhith, whose family make St Tola goat’s cheese.

Considine’s Bakery

Francis Street, Kilrush, Co. Clare;
“This bakery in Kilrush has been operational since 1870. There are very few surviving bakeries left but they’re still going strong. Every day they have a different special, today it’s the seaweed bread, tomorrow it’s the paintique, which is made from older grains. It’s a proper old bakery – they’re great.”
